Join us for Artwalk Dupont at the CAMDC on Friday, April 5, from 6:00-8:00 pm. On the First Friday of each month, Dupont Circle's museums, galleries, and cultural exhibits open their doors to the public after hours.

Currently featuring special exhibits:

"Under the Bodhi Tree: Art and Architecture of the Longhua Temple" explores the history and art of the Longhua Temple, including the iconic seven-storied Longhua pagoda first built in 977 during the Northern Song Dynasty. As one of the oldest temples in Shanghai, Longhua Temple has witnessed the evolution and expansion of Buddhism in China. This exhibit is a cultural exchange program partnered with the Shanghai Longhua Temple.

"2023 Student Art Competition Exhibition - My Dream" showcases 30 selected winning pieces from our 2023 Student Art Competition. This year's theme, "My Dream", is an open-ended topic that emphasizes divergent thinking. The genres and styles of the artwork received were truly inspiring, covering a wide range of topics with far-reaching messages.

"Thank you, Corky Lee: The Unofficial Photographer Laureate of Asian Americans" features key images from late activist-photographer, Corky Lee. This exhibit is a very personal tribute to Corky as someone that helped diverse groups of all backgrounds to see themselves and to be seen.

Light snacks and wine will be served. To learn more about the Chinese American Museum DC, upcoming exhibits and events, visit our website at www.chineseamericanmuseum.org.
