Asian American LEAD's Mentoring Program supports youth ages 8-18 in DC, Maryland and Virginia with one-on-one, community-based mentorship. Our volunteer mentors serve as important supportive adult figures to mentees, helping youth develop confidence, achieve goals, and navigate linguistic, cultural, and institutional barriers. AALEAD also provides opportunities for participants to receive culturally relevant programming and attend fun field trips and events (getting SSL hours)!
AALEAD is in need of mentors who demonstrate a commitment to the growth and development of the next generation young leaders and mentees who could use another supportive adult in their lives.
Please find additional information about being a mentor in the attached fact sheet, additional information about being a mentee in the attached flyers and brochures.
