1.2.2025 CCACC 2025 Lunar New Year Celebrations Are Scheduled to Kick Off on 1/25
The Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC) has been hosting traditional Lunar New Year celebrations at Montgomery Mall since 1997, marking 27 years of festival tradition. Continuing this legacy, CCACC is excited to announce the upcoming 2025 Lunar New Year Celebration, which will feature a variety of joyful activities, performances, and cultural experiences to welcome the Year of the Snake. These festival events promise to bring the community together to celebrate the traditions and spirit of the Lunar New Year.
To create a unique atmosphere for the holiday, CCACC will host three Lunar New Year celebrations at the following times and locations:
· January 25, 2025 (Saturday), 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Westfield Montgomery Mall
· February 1, 2025 (Saturday), 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at Westfield Wheaton Mall
· February 8, 2025 (Saturday), 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Westfield Montgomery Mall
During the celebration, you will enjoy a festive atmosphere filled with spectacular performances, including the magnificent Golden Dragon Parade, traditional lion and dragon dances, martial arts, and cultural performances. Free ethnic clothing experiences will be available, allowing you to appreciate the elegance of traditional attire. You and your family will have the opportunity to dress in ethnic costumes and have your photo taken by members of the CCACC Photography Club, creating lasting memories.
Additionally, you will be able to try traditional handicrafts, such as paper lanterns and firecrackers, and learn about the unique aspects of Chinese craftsmanship.
Moreover, during the event on February 8, 2025 (Saturday) at Westfield Montgomery Mall, we will also have 100 interesting riddles prepared to celebrate the Lantern Festival.
CCACC will open a window for you to explore Chinese culture, allowing you to experience the beauty of traditional arts while celebrating the occasion. We invite you to join us, along with your family and friends, for these cultural and joyful events as we welcome the new year together.
