The Evergreen Senior Program of CCACC was established in October 1998 at Tilden Middle School in Rockville. This program has the most participants, and is the one which has expanded most rapidly and with the largest variety of activities. At the present time it has at least 900 members and close to 100 volunteers. Members coming from mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong participate in activities together and help each other.

Mission

The objective of the Evergreen Club is to provide seniors with a place to make friends, maintain good physical and mental health, and enjoy entertainment.  It also provides opportunities for seniors to engage in volunteer work to enjoy the satisfaction of helping others.  Its services are tailored to offer medical care, dietary, housing and transportation assistance, and to help them to adjust their new life in the United States.  Any CCACC member of 60 years of age or older is eligible for senior membership and many participate in all the programs sponsored by the Senior Program.

Germantown Site  
Evergreen Club’s activities at GCC are jointly sponsored by CCACC and GCC.   And the activities are an integral part of all activities offered by GCC.  GCC provides the activity space and facilities, and the club helps arrange and manage such activities offered by CCACC, including a senior nutrition meal.

Headquarters Site  
Evergreen Club’s activities at headquarter is hosted at CCACC.   And the activities are an integral part of all activities offered by CCACC that provides the activity space and facilities, and the club helps arrange and manage such activities offered by CCACC, including a senior nutrition meal.

Rockville Center    
Evergreen Club’s activities at RSC are jointly sponsored by CCACC and RSC.   And the activities are an integral part of all activities offered by RSC. RSC provides the activity space and facilities, and the club helps arrange and manage such activities offered by CCACC, including a senior nutrition meal.
