Founded in 1982, CCACC is one of the largest nonprofit Chinese American community organizations in the Washington metropolitan area. Through health, education, cultural, sports, and community services, CCACC works to enhance quality of life, promote cultural diversity, and strengthen the community.
The Opportunity
CCACC is seeking an Executive Director to provide strategic and operational leadership, work closely with the Board of Directors, strengthen programs and services, and ensure long-term organizational and financial sustainability.
Full-Time | Exempt Position
Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and operational leadership
• Oversee financial and organizational management
• Lead, mentor, and support staff
• Strengthen programs and services
• Build strategic partnerships and represent CCACC
• Ensure effective governance and regulatory compliance
Key Qualifications
• Significant leadership and organizational management experience
• Strong strategic thinking and hands-on leadership skills
• Demonstrated financial and operational accountability
• Ability to work effectively with the Board, staff, and diverse stakeholders
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Knowledge of the Chinese American community and demonstrated cultural competence
• Fluent in English and able to converse in Chinese
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Preferred: Senior leadership experience in a nonprofit, community-based, social-service, health, educational, or cultural organization.
