CCACC Launches 2026 Health Month; Health Fair and Free Blood Test Registration Now Open

To promote health awareness, encourage early detection of potential health risks, and help community members develop healthy lifestyle habits, CCACC has officially launched its 2026 Health Month campaign. The annual CCACC Health Fair will take place on October 3, bringing together CCACC's healthcare team and numerous community partners to provide a wide range of free health services and educational resources.

The Health Fair will feature free health screenings, health consultations, health education, and community resource exhibits, offering residents valuable opportunities to learn about both physical and mental wellness.

This event is funded by the Asian American Health Initiative (AAHI) and is part of a community health program supported by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). Community members are welcome to attend free of charge.

A Wide Range of Free Health Services

The Health Fair will offer a variety of free services, including:

  • Vaccinations (Hepatitis B and seasonal influenza vaccines for eligible individuals)
  • Health screenings, including blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), blood glucose, bone density, and mental health assessments
  • Basic health consultations
  • Community health resource exhibits
  • Social benefit enrollment assistance and healthcare benefit information

Healthcare professionals and representatives from medical institutions and community organizations will also be available to introduce local health resources and public benefit programs, helping participants access services that best meet their healthcare needs.

No advance registration is required to attend the Health Fair on October 3.

Free Blood Tests by Appointment Only

Because appointment slots are limited, advance registration is required for the free blood test program. Eligible community members may register by scanning the QR code on the event flyer or by completing the online registration form.

The free blood test program is available to individuals who have not visited a Primary Care Physician (PCP) within the past year or currently do not have health insurance.

Blood test appointments will be available throughout September 1–30.

Organizations Invited to Apply for Health Resource Booths

CCACC welcomes government agencies, healthcare providers, community organizations, and health-related businesses to participate as exhibitors at this year's Health Fair. Exhibitors will have the opportunity to introduce healthcare services, community resources, wellness programs, and public benefit initiatives while engaging directly with community members and contributing to a healthier community.

Volunteers Needed

The success of the Health Fair depends on the support of dedicated volunteers. CCACC is currently recruiting volunteers to assist with interpretation, registration and reception, visitor guidance, crowd management, logistics, and parking coordination.

Volunteering at the Health Fair offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about community health services, interact with healthcare professionals and local residents, and make a meaningful contribution to improving community health. We warmly invite individuals who are passionate about community service to join us in making this annual Health Fair a success.
