"Cool Summer, Warm Appreciation" - CCACC Staff Come together to Strengthen Team Spirit

As summer temperatures rose, CCACC brought its staff together for an afternoon of appreciation, connection, and celebration. On June 30, employees from across the organization gathered for the " Cool Summer ，Warm Appreciation" staff appreciation event, taking a well-deserved break from their daily responsibilities to enjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon with colleagues.

The event was organized to recognize the dedication and hard work of every team member. Whether supporting administrative operations, advancing programs, or serving clients on the front lines, each employee plays an essential role in helping CCACC fulfill its mission and strengthen the community.

The program was emceed by Ms.Chiao-Chiao Liu, Director of Community Services. Ms. Rita Lewi, Executive Director of CCACC opened the event with welcoming remarks, expressing sincere gratitude for the commitment and contributions of the staff. She encouraged employees to continue supporting one another, working collaboratively across departments, and using their unique talents to advance CCACC's programs and services. Her heartfelt message set a warm and encouraging tone for the afternoon.

One of the event highlights was an interactive team trivia competition led by Director Liu. The quiz featured 20 questions covering CCACC's seven divisions, organizational services, and fun summer-themed facts. Using the Kahoot! live quiz platform, employees competed in real time while animated leaderboards added excitement and friendly competition.

Staff enthusiastically answered questions, exchanged ideas, and cheered one another on throughout the game. Beyond the fun, the activity gave employees an opportunity to learn more about the work and services provided by other departments. While many staff members are naturally focused on their own roles, the competition encouraged greater understanding of CCACC's organization as a whole, strengthened cross-departmental awareness, and reinforced the importance of collaboration and teamwork.

Following the competition, employees enjoyed a casual networking and refreshment session featuring seasonal fruit and light snacks. The relaxed atmosphere provided an opportunity for colleagues to connect, share conversations about work and everyday life, and strengthen relationships across the organization.

The "Cool Summer, Warm Appreciation" event not only offered employees a chance to recharge and relieve stress, but also fostered stronger connections among colleagues. As CCACC continues to grow and serve the community, our staff remain committed to working together with gratitude, compassion, and a shared dedication to providing high-quality, person-centered services for the diverse communities we serve.
