As summer approaches, water safety and swimming skill development once again become important priorities for many families. The 2026 Summer Learn-to-Swim program offered by CCACC Sports is now open for registration. Designed for children and teens ages 3 to 18, the program helps students build essential water safety awareness and foundational swimming skills.
This year's Learn-to-Swim summer program will run from June through August and is divided into two sessions. Session 1 will take place from June 22 to July 19, and Session 2 from July 20 to August 16. A makeup week will also be offered from August 17 to August 23, providing families with greater flexibility when planning summer activities and travel.
Classes are taught in small groups with level-based instruction tailored to each student's swimming ability. Course content includes water adjustment, floating, freestyle kicking and breathing techniques, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, and treading water, helping students progressively develop strong swimming techniques and water safety skills.
All classes are led by professionally certified coaches who emphasize a safe, encouraging, and supportive learning environment. Through step-by-step instruction, students are guided to build confidence in the water while strengthening self-protection awareness and overall water safety knowledge.
Summer classes require a minimum attendance of two sessions per week. Lessons are scheduled on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday afternoons, with additional Sunday morning classes available to provide families with more flexible scheduling options. Parents may choose between two to five lessons per week based on their child's summer schedule.
In addition, CCACC Sports offers swim evaluations and a makeup class policy to help families select the most appropriate class level for their children. For more information and registration details, please click here to visit the official website.
