The CCACC Health Center will host a free online health talk on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The session will focus on a comprehensive overview of the U.S. federal health insurance program, Medicare, and aims to provide clear and practical guidance for individuals who are turning 65 or preparing to enter Medicare eligibility.
As the population continues to age, Medicare plays a vital role in the U.S. public healthcare system. Key factors such as enrollment timing, coverage options, and differences among various plans can significantly impact individuals' future healthcare decisions. This seminar will address common questions in a structured way, helping participants develop a clear and well-rounded understanding of the program.
The health talk will feature Ms. Chang Liu Peng as the speaker. Ms. Peng has extensive experience in the insurance industry and in-depth expertise in Medicare and other health insurance plans. She is dedicated to providing the public with comprehensive healthcare information and resources, helping individuals better understand and select insurance plans that best meet their needs.
The session will cover key topics including the structure of Medicare (Parts A, B, C, and D), the enrollment process and important timelines, comparisons of common insurance plans, and how to choose the most suitable coverage based on personal health conditions and financial planning. All interested individuals are welcome to participate.
