CCACC Health Center will host a bilingual (Chinese and English) online health talk, "Dementia Friends Program," on Friday, April 3, from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

This health talk is organized by the Area Agency on Aging and will focus on recognizing the early signs of dementia, as well as practical strategies for effective communication with individuals living with dementia. The content is both professional and highly practical.

This program is part of Montgomery County's Dementia Friendly Initiative, which aims to raise public awareness of dementia and promote a more inclusive and supportive community environment. The session will share best practices for interacting with individuals with dementia and introduce a variety of local care resources to support families and caregivers.

Individuals living with dementia need understanding and compassion within the community, and their families also deserve empathy, appropriate support, and companionship.

We warmly invite community members who care about senior health and community well-being to participate and help foster a community grounded in both care and understanding.
