The CCACC Evergreen "Active Aging" Pickleball Team held a Lunar New Year celebration on February 24, 2026, at CCACC Sports. The lively event attracted over 40 pickleball enthusiasts and community members, highlighting the team's growing unity and strong sense of connection. Participants gathered both on and off the court—enjoying friendly matches, sharing a meal, and welcoming the New Year through sports and social interaction.

During the event, Coach Steve Liu shared his training insights and practical playing techniques, along with live demonstrations to help participants improve their skills. Many attendees noted that learning from a professional coach in a relaxed and enjoyable setting made the experience both meaningful and rewarding.

Ms. Li-Fang C. Liu (Deputy Executive Director of CCACC) and Ms. Chiao-Chiao Liu (Director of CCACC Community Services) were also present, engaging warmly with team members and extending New Year's greetings. Director Liu also reconnected with several longtime friends, adding a heartfelt and friendly atmosphere to the occasion.

In addition, Ms. Kate Lu (Director of CCACC Health Center) introduced the center's health promotion programs for seniors and shared information about upcoming health seminars. She highlighted a range of practical resources and encouraged older adults to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.

This event was not only a sports gathering, but also an important platform for strengthening community ties and promoting cultural exchange. CCACC remains committed to encouraging healthy living, deepening community engagement, and celebrating cultural diversity. The Evergreen Pickleball Team reflects this mission by providing a welcoming space for residents to stay active, build connections, and enjoy meaningful time together.

Looking ahead, the team looks forward to the continued growth of the Evergreen pickleball community, where sports, culture, and friendship come together to enrich community life.
