Presidents Day Closures in Gaithersburg

In observance of Presidents Day, most City of Gaithersburg facilities and offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026. Recycling will be collected as scheduled. Bulk pickup is unavailable. Note that the regular Mayor and City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 17.

The Arts Barn will be open for the 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. performances of The Great Zucchini. Purchase tickets here.

The Gaithersburg Aquatic Center will be open 5:15 to 8:30 p.m. with lap swimming from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. and recreational swim from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Gaithersburg Police Department Administrative Offices will open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
