5.5.2020 Federal Government need our hand to spread word of EIP into our community

IRS is  reaching our displaced and unbanked communities regarding their eligibility for the economic stimulus payment.  Currently, is  looking for  the  partners in the  community to provide as much information (Address, telephone #, email address and whom to get in contact  with,etc. and your comments supporting your referral) regarding any of the organizations described below that you may be aware of:

Who to engage?

    • Banks and credit unions offering affordable accounts
    • Catholic Charities
    • Churches
    • Colleges (community as well as universities)
    • Food pantries, food banks, and emergency food distribution centers
    • Hotels, apartments, etc., offering shelter to homeless
    • HUD and affiliated organizations
    • Mental health facilities
    • Nursing homes and assisted living facilities
    • Prisons
    • Public transportation centers
    • Schools, especially Title I schools with significant levels of poverty (many schools are delivering food to students in need)
    • Shelters
    • United Way organizations
    • VA buildings, hospitals, stand-downs
    • Veteran Centers
    • Broad list of organizations that provide services or work on issues related to homelessness:

Please refer above facilities information such as name,address,phone number,and email to CCACC by  gaap@ccacc-dc.org  in order  to spread the word of EIP to those hard to reach populations.
