CCACC's 2026 Lunar New Year Celebrations Will Kick off on 2/15
As the new year ushers in renewal and joy, the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC) warmly invites the community to join a vibrant cultural celebration where tradition meets the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year. Together, we will welcome the Year of the Horse with blessings, good fortune, and shared joy.
For many years, CCACC has remained committed to promoting traditional culture and strengthening community connections, accompanying countless families in celebrating the Lunar New Year. As we usher in the Year of the Horse, CCACC is proud to continue this cherished tradition by once again partnering with Westfield Montgomery to present the 2026 Lunar New Year Celebrations, inviting everyone to welcome the spring, embrace good fortune, and celebrate the arrival of the new year together.
To create a rich and festive Lunar New Year atmosphere, CCACC will host two exciting celebration events at Macy's Court, Westfield Montgomery Mall:
· Opening Celebration: Sunday, February 15, 2026 ｜11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
· Closing Celebration: Saturday, February 28, 2026 ｜11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
On Opening Day, visitors will be immersed in a lively and joyful festive atmosphere, featuring a spectacular Golden Dragon parade, traditional dragon and lion dances, martial arts demonstrations, and a variety of cultural performances. Through a diverse lineup of stage programs, as well as hands-on craft and calligraphy booths, CCACC will offer the public an engaging window into the richness of traditional culture.
Clothing Donation Drive
In addition, the Clothing Donation Drive will be a special highlight of this year's celebrations. On February 15 and February 28, community members are invited to bring new or gently used clothing to Westfield Montgomery Mall to donate to Interfaith Works. Donors will receive a red envelope containing exclusive offers from select mall retailers in appreciation of their contribution.
The clothing donation drive will take place only on Sunday, February 15 and Saturday, February 28, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while supplies last.
Westfield Montgomery Mall notes that, as a symbol of fresh beginnings, good luck, and prosperity in the new year, cleaning out one's wardrobe and welcoming new clothing is a traditional Lunar New Year custom. The mall encourages everyone to share kindness through clothing donations, receive red envelopes, and celebrate the festive season together.
