The CCACC Health Center successfully hosted its 2025 Annual Health Fair on October 11, drawing nearly 300 enthusiastic community participants. Distinguished guests in attendance included Dr. Yuchi Huang, Chairman of the CCACC Board of Directors; Ms. Rita S. Lewi, Executive Director of CCACC; Mr. Chih-Hsiang Li, CCACC Co-founder and Director of CCACC Sports; and Mr. Charles Chen, former CCACC Board Member. Together, they witnessed this vibrant annual celebration of community health and wellness.

The CCACC Health Center traces its roots back 26 years. At the initiative of Dr. Mo-Ping Chow, current CCACC Board Member, a group of local physicians began organizing annual free clinics at Chinese schools and community centers. Upholding the mission of "Serving the Community, Promoting Health," the Center has long provided residents with diverse and practical health resources. Continuing this tradition, this year's fair offered free health screenings, flu vaccinations, benefits and insurance consultations, and on-site specialist services. Booths from various Maryland and Montgomery County government agencies and community organizations further enriched the event, offering visitors valuable health information and small gifts in a welcoming atmosphere.

For the first time, the fair was held at the CCACC Health Center's new location, drawing a steady flow of attendees throughout the day. The lively event reflected the diversity and inclusiveness of the local community, welcoming not only Chinese Americans but also residents of many other backgrounds.

Inside and outside the venue, activities were abundant and engaging. Fourteen specialists from the CCACC Health Center and its partner institutions volunteered to provide consultations and screenings across multiple fields, including podiatry (with a focus on diabetes and foot care), colorectal cancer blood testing, internal medicine, gastroenterology, dentistry, endocrinology, traditional Chinese medicine, child psychiatry, audiology and speech therapy, and occupational therapy for children with special needs.

For decades, the CCACC Health Center has remained committed to advancing health education and community well-being through its wide range of outreach initiatives. The success of this year's Annual Health Fair was made possible by the dedication of CCACC staff and volunteers and the generous support of partner organizations, all working together to create an event filled with knowledge, care, and a strong sense of community health awareness.
