Pearl Shen's Professional Art Classes Coming Soon to CCACC
Renowned Greater Washington artist Ms. Pearl Shen will soon be offering professional art classes at the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC). The programs are open to youth ages 11 and up as well as adults.
Ms. Shen is a professional painter and visiting professor at several universities. Over the years, she has effectively guided both youth and adults into the world of painting, cultivating their artistic sensibilities. She has also successfully helped many high school students prepare their college application portfolios, with students receiving offers of admission from prestigious institutions such as the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA), Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), and Pratt Institute.
Course Offerings:
- Beginner Class: Sketching, Illustration
- Intermediate Class: Watercolor, Oil Painting, Comic Creation
- Portfolio Preparation Class: Designed for students applying to art colleges
