2025 CAMDC Mid-Autumn Festival Community Day: September 20, 2025

Join the Chinese American Museum DC for a celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, one of the most cherished holidays in Chinese culture! This family-friendly community day invites you to immerse yourself in the traditions and warmth of this moonlit festival.

Our celebration will light up with:

Live Musical Performances: Be enchanted by the serene and melodious sounds of traditional Chinese instruments. Let the gentle notes of the guzheng (zither), erhu (two-stringed fiddle), and pipa (lute) transport you under our symbolic moon.

Mooncake Tasting: No festival is complete without its signature treat! We will be offering complimentary traditional mooncakes for guests to savor. These rich, flavorful pastries symbolize completeness and family reunion.

Family Arts & Crafts: Unleash your creativity with hands-on activities for all ages. Craft your own brilliant lantern to light the night, design a festive decoration, or try your hand at other cultural art projects—a perfect way to create lasting memories.
