Montgomery Parks is preparing for its Capital Improvements Program forum on September 11, 2025, at 7 p.m. at the M-NCPPC building in Wheaton. We are currently seeking ideas from the public for the CIP via an online survey.

Montgomery Parks seeks public input for its Capital Improvement Program

Montgomery Parks is seeking public input on its Capital Improvement Program (CIP) for fiscal years 2027 – 2032 (FY27-32). Community suggestions for the upcoming CIP may be submitted online, via email to mcp-chair@mncppc-mc.org by U.S. mail (address below), or in person at the public forum.  The survey closes on September 9, 2025. Details on the upcoming forum are below.

WHAT: Capital Improvements Program FY2027- 2032 Forum

WHEN: Thursday, September 11, 2025, 7 p.m.

WHERE: The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), 2425 Reedie Drive, Wheaton, Md., 20902

The CIP is prepared every two years to cover a six-year cycle and funds new parks and park amenities, environmental restorations, and rehabilitation projects that increase the life of assets.
