Do you want to learn how to better access & prepare to bid on open solicitations? During this session, our guest instructors will explain how to decipher the procurement announcement (Solicitation). They will discuss how to best understand the various types of bid announcements (RFP, RFQ, Solicitation, etc.), estimating contract  best practices, as both a General Contractor and/or a Subcontractor. They will also discuss the Submission process (preparation), award process & negotiation (understanding final award contract language and compliance), post award admintration processes (compliance documents, MBE reports, certified payroll, invoicing, etc.).

Who should attend? Small, minority, women, and veteran business owners and entrepreneurs who want to better understand bid & proposal solicitations and how to respond appropriately in order to compete with greater confidence.
