CUAH’s Youth Creating Change project is hosting two more social justice panels this weekend, focused on social empowerment and the opportunity gap. Our panel last Sunday, featuring Del. On Saturday, May 2nd at 3 – 4:15 pm, our YCC Social Empowerment panel will feature President of Montgomery College, Dr. DeRionne Pollard, as moderator, and MoCo EmpowHer, MoCo LGBTQ, Einstein's Black Student Union, and others that are creating safe spaces for marginalized groups while advancing social change. On Sunday, May 3rd at 3 – 4:15 pm, our YCC Opportunity Gap panel will feature Board of Education Vice President Brenda Wolff, will include leaders from the Minority Scholars Program, MoCo STEPS, Brooks Codes, and Valentia.
