On Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:15 AM, the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC)'s CCACC Home Care held its grand 10th anniversary celebration at the CCACC Art Gallery. The event was filled with warmth and joy as more than a hundred seniors, their families, and caregivers gathered together to commemorate this special milestone.

Distinguished guests in attendance included Dr. Yuchi Huang (Chairman of the CCACC Board of Directors), Ms. Chang Zhao (Vice Chair of the CCACC Board of Directors), Mr. Mo-Ping Chow (CCACC Board Member), Mr. Roger Xu (CCACC Board Member), as well as two CCACC co-founders—Mr. Chih-Hsiang Li (Current Director of CCACC Sports) and Mr. Ned Li (Current Director of CCACC Adult Day Healthcare Center).

Staying True to Our Original Mission, Grateful for the Journey

The ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Ms. Rita S. Lewi (Executive Director of CCACC and Director of CCACC Home Care). She reflected deeply on CCACC Home Care's founding mission—to provide safe and compassionate care for seniors who face language barriers and mobility challenges. She also expressed sincere gratitude to Directors Chih-Hsiang Li and Ned Li for their crucial support and encouragement during CCACC Home Care's early days.

E.D. Lewi also took the opportunity to introduce members of the CCACC Board and the Home Care administrative team: Ms. Shuping Yang, Ms. Sai (Sally) Ma, and Ms. Pochu (Gracier) Li. Among them, Ms. Yang has been with CCACC Home Care since 2015, making her a vital witness to the Home Care's growth and development over the past decade.

Rooted in the Founding Vision

As one of the co-founders of CCACC, Director Chih-Hsiang Li also delivered a heartfelt speech during the celebration. He reflected on the founding journey ten years ago and remarked, "It was truly meaningful to have established CCACC Home Care under the leadership of E.D. Lewi." He emphasized how, over the past decade, he had personally witnessed E.D. Lewi's tireless dedication and admirable efforts in developing every aspect of the service.

Following that, Dr. Yuchi Huang also shared his reflections. As a volunteer with CCACC for over 30 years, he spoke with deep understanding of the commitment and care E.D. Lewi has poured into CCACC Home Care. "She has vision, action, and above all, unwavering persistence." In addition, he highlighted the core values of CCACC— "Care with Love and Compassion; Serve with Sincerity and Integrity; Thrive on Joy and Harmony." He encouraged all staff to continue working hand in hand to extend the love and care even farther and wider.

A Decade of Dedication, A Legacy of Warmth

Over the past ten years, CCACC Home Care has served approximately 720 seniors, supported by around 740 caregivers, with a cumulative total of nearly one million service hours. These figures represent not only the delivery of professional and heartfelt care, but also the comfort of thousands of families and the smiles of many seniors.

Sincere Gratitude from Seniors and Caregivers

The celebration featured special speeches by representatives of the elderly and caregivers. Ms. Limei Zhang sincerely congratulated CCACC Home Care on its 10th anniversary and expressed her thanks to the administrative team and caregivers for their thoughtful care. Another senior, Ms. Xiaochun Chen, shared her personal experience, noting that the Home Care not only thoughtfully matched her with a suitable caregiver, but also provided consistent follow-up and support throughout the process—offering both comfort and peace of mind.

Caregiver Ms. Minmin Li shared how her work at CCACC Home Care, and the relationships she has formed with the seniors, have felt like being with family. She also expressed gratitude for the opportunities to grow and learn. Another caregiver, Mr. Yan Sun, enthusiastically congratulated the Home Care on its 10th anniversary and thanked the organization for bridging communication between caregivers and seniors, making services more seamless and relationships more harmonious.

Songs and Smiles

Mr. Weiming Wang—a family member of one of the seniors and also a caregiver—performed two songs during the event. His heartfelt performance resonated with the audience and brought the celebration to a joyful peak.

Afterwards, guests enjoyed a delicious lunch thoughtfully prepared by the center, sharing laughter and meaningful moments together.

Looking Ahead, Continuing the Warmth

The celebration concluded on a note of joy and gratitude. For the past ten years, CCACC Home Care has stood steadfast in its mission—accompanying seniors through their golden years and becoming an indispensable part of the community.

A decade marks both a journey completed and the beginning of a new chapter. Let us all wish CCACC Home Care an even brighter future, continuing to grow and achieve new milestones!
