The Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County is currently conducting a community survey to encourage residents to share their input on cultural activities and planning. To better serve the community and promote cultural exchange, the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC) is helping distribute the survey link widely, with the goal of ensuring that voices from the Chinese community are heard, valued, and considered.
The Asian Pacific American Advisory Group (APAAG) of Montgomery County recently held its regular meeting, chaired by Mr. Yi Shen, Asian Liaison from the Montgomery County Office of Community Partnerships. Mr. Joe Frandoni, Deputy Director of the Arts and Humanities Council of Montgomery County, was invited to present updates on the Council's work and introduce the ongoing community cultural survey. CCACC is one of the participating organizations in APAAG, and the contributions of the CCACC Art Gallery to local arts and culture were recognized during the meeting.
Mr. Frandoni encouraged members of the Asian American and Pacific Islander community to take part in the survey. It is one of the simplest ways to participate in cultural planning and an important opportunity to share feedback. The survey is available in seven languages, including English, Chinese (Mandarin), Korean, Thai, and Vietnamese. It is short, anonymous, and easy to complete. Your perspective is essential to help create a more inclusive and vibrant cultural community where everyone can grow and thrive.
Your response will help shape the Montgomery County Cultural Plan, which focuses on:
All responses will be kept confidential, and published survey results will not include any personal information. Those who complete the survey will also have a chance to win a $100 gift card!
