Caring for a loved one is an act of love and responsibility—but it often comes with significant challenges. To help community members better understand and access available caregiving resources, CCACC Health Center warmly invites you to attend our upcoming online seminar,  "Caregiving Resources," on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM.

We are honored to welcome Ms. Ruth Kershner as our guest speaker. Ms. Kershner is a licensed clinical social worker with extensive experience in social services. Since 2012, she has served Montgomery County in various roles, including positions with the Ombudsman Program, Behavioral Health, Senior Services, and Adult Protective Services.

Currently, Ms. Kershner manages the National Family Caregiver Support Program for Montgomery County. She is dedicated to educating residents about a wide range of available support and benefits, such as the Family Caregiver Support Program, transportation services, financial assistance for respite care, adult day programs for individuals with dementia, supporting for hearing devices, translation services, technology support services, and housing assistance.

Whether you are currently caring for an elderly family member or someone with disabilities, or simply want to prepare for future caregiving needs, this seminar will provide valuable insights and practical guidance. We warmly invite all residents interested in family caregiving to join us in learning how to make the most of these resources—so that caregiving becomes a journey supported with strength and ease.
