Embracing Our Minds - A Youth & Family Mental Health Initiative

Asian American LEAD would like to share an important event with AAPI parents and families in Montgomery County! Embracing Our Minds: Mental Health Education Series is a free community gathering focused on supporting the mental health and well-being of AAPI  youth (ages 10-15) and their families.

Date: Saturday, March 15thAshkey, April 5th, May 10th (we strongly encourage attendance on all three dates)
Location: Newport Mill Middle School (11311 Newport Mill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20902)
Free Admission | Food & Giveaways Provided! | Youth Earn SSL hours or Paid Stipend!

This event will feature expert-led discussions, interactive workshops, and culturally relevant wellness resources to help families navigate mental health challenges together. Parents will gain tools to support their children’s well-being while fostering a sense of community and belonging.
