At the warm and welcoming campus of CCACC Academy, there are always families who quietly embody kindness and care through their actions. With heartfelt gratitude, we would like to share a touching story from one of the families in our preschool.
Mrs. Lily Fang, the grandmother of Olivia Fang who is a student in the Wren class at CCACC Academy, has been a steadfast supporter of the school's development through her selfless generosity over the past three years. This year, she once again made a generous donation of $1,000 to purchase Montessori teaching materials, interactive learning boards, and other high-quality educational resources for the preschool program. These tools will significantly enhance the learning environment for the children.
Mrs. Fang's kindness extends far beyond her support for CCACC Academy; she is a beacon of dedication to community education. Over the years, she has devoted herself to public service, making significant contributions to education in the Greater Washington area, including 43 years of tireless service at Rockville Chinese School. Furthermore, Mrs. Fang has shown deep compassion for children in impoverished regions of mainland China, providing financial support to help them break free from hardship and achieve their dreams. Her selfless dedication and passion for education are truly inspiring.
It is worth mentioning that Mrs. Fang and her spouse, Dr. ChyangTzong Fang (former Director of the CCACC Health and Human Services Division), have been long-time senior volunteers at CCACC, dedicating many years to community service. Mrs. Fang has actively participated in and helped organize CCACC's Lunar New Year celebrations at Lakeforest Mall, as well as numerous other events, including CCACC anniversary celebrations. Her enthusiastic and tireless presence has been a constant at these occasions. Both Dr. Fang and Mrs. Fang are known for their quiet philanthropy, consistently donating to various organizations without seeking recognition. During this season of gratitude, Mrs. Fang's kindness continues to inspire us all.
To honor Mrs. Fang's generosity and express gratitude to all parents for their support, CCACC Academy has established the Nurturing Future - Parents Education Fund. This fund is not only a tribute to Mrs. Fang's spirit of dedication but also a way to channel the collective kindness of all families into a force that supports children's growth. All donations will be used exclusively to purchase advanced teaching materials, creating an enhanced learning experience for the children.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Mrs. Fang. Her generosity has enriched the lives of the preschool students and set a shining example for educational service in the community. Moving forward, let us continue working together to create a hopeful and bright future for our children.
