"Montgomery County 2026 Fiscal Year Operating Budget Forum" is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 23, from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at CCACC Art Gallery. This marks the third time the Montgomery County government has used CCACC Art Gallery as a venue. County Executive Marc Elrich will personally engage with community residents to discuss topics such as funding for public service programs.

This year, the Montgomery County government is holding a total of seven Operating Budget forums from September 30 to November 7. To accommodate the needs of different ethnic groups, one forum will have Chinese interpretation, and another will offer Spanish interpretation. The forum with Chinese interpretation will be held at CCACC Art Gallery, with the aim of providing Chinese-speaking residents the opportunity for direct face-to-face communication with the County Executive through the assistance of interpreters. The county has also created Chinese flyer to widely promote the event within the Chinese community, encouraging everyone to actively participate in the forum.

This is a valuable opportunity, and everyone is encouraged to actively participate and make their voices heard. It not only provides insight into the county's financial operations but also ensures that the needs and expectations of the Chinese community are considered in the government's budget resource allocation.
