The Asian American Scholar Forum (AASF) invites you to join us at our upcoming public forum with NIH Director Dr. Monica M. Bertagnolli and Principal Deputy Director Lawrence A. Tabak. The forum is taking place online this Thursday, September 19 at 3pm ET, and you can register here. Additionally, we encourage you to anonymously submit questions for the NIH via our online form here.
After Dr. Bertagnolli's recent statement in support of the Asian American and Asian immigrant scientists and scholars, as well as the NIH's release of a decision matrix and memo guidance on how to assess potential foreign interference in research, we understand that our communities may have questions. As a result, AASF is bringing together this public forum and facilitating a space for folks to ask NIH any questions they may have. To encourage openness, questions submitted through the online form will be posed anonymously.
