Recently, CCACC warmly welcomed Maryland State Delegate Joseph Vogel and his Chief of Staff, Mr. Mateo Garcia Araoz-Fraser, for a visit. Ms. Rita Lewi, the Executive Director of CCACC, along with the administrative directors of various divisions, extended their heartfelt hospitality to the distinguished guests.

Delegate Vogel was unable to attend the opening reception of "The Art of Xiaosheng Bi" at CCACC Art Gallery celebrating Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month (AAPI) due to temporary reasons, so he rescheduled his visit on the afternoon of June 27 to show his support for this unique and creative exhibition.

Delegate Vogel and his Chief of Staff entered the CCACC Art Gallery accompanied by Ms. Li-fang C. Liu, Deputy Executive Director of CCACC. Present at the gallery were Ms. Rita Lewi, Executive Director of CCACC & Director of CCACC Art Gallery; Ms. May Zhou, Executive Secretary; Mr. Ned Li, Director of CCACC Adult Day Healthcare Center & Senior Advisor; Mr. Chih-Hsiang Li, Director of CCACC Sports; Ms. Kate Lu, Director of CCACC Health Center; and Mr. Jerry Wang, Deputy Director of CCACC Adult Day Healthcare Center. Ms. Rita personally explained the works featured in "The Art of Xiaosheng Bi." The two distinguished guests were highly impressed by the gallery's exquisite space arrangement and the beautiful ceramics, calligraphy, and other artworks on display.

Subsequently, everyone moved to the CCACC Health Center. Under the explanation of Ms. Kate Lu, the two distinguished guests gained a deep understanding of its operations and highly appreciated the center's contribution to providing quality medical services to low-income and uninsured residents of Montgomery County. Ms. Kate Lu said that CCACC has been able to serve the public for a long time mostly because of the support from governments at all levels and parliamentarians. She looks forward to continuing to receive strong support from all sectors in order to provide more medical benefits to the community in the future.

Following that, Ms. Rita conducted a presentation in the conference room, introducing the organization, operations, and services of CCACC. During the meeting, Division Directors also provided brief overviews of CCACC Adult Day Healthcare Center, CCACC Home Care, CCACC Health Center, CCACC Art Gallery, CCACC Community Services, CCACC Academy, and CCACC Sports. Everyone engaged in thorough communication and exchanged ideas. Delegate Vogel mentioned that his relatives in Uruguay have also participated in activities at senior centers and have greatly enjoyed them. He expressed his admiration for CCACC's dedication to its mission and its rapid development of various community services. He hopes to have the opportunity to collaborate in the future, work together to secure resources, and jointly serve residents of different ethnicities in the community.

In just an hour and a half, the two distinguished guests gained a deeper understanding of the challenges and needs CCACC faces in serving the community. They listened intently to opinions and suggestions, and expressed their willingness to assist actively in promoting the well-being of the community.
