5.9.2024 Welcome to Participate in The Second Annual Charity Pickleball Tournament
CCACC Health Center has been dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to low-income, uninsured, and socially disadvantaged groups in Montgomery County. Over the years, it has gained a reputation not only for its professional medical team and enthusiastic service attitude but also for its active participation in and organization of community and charity events, earning the trust of the public.
This year, CCACC Health Center extends its heartfelt invitation to all compassionate individuals to participate in the second annual charity pickleball tournament. All funds raised from this charity event will be dedicated to support the "Promise Program". This initiative is a collaborative effort between CCACC Health Center, the University of Maryland, the Chinese American Parents Association of Montgomery County (CAPA-MC), and community professional volunteers. The "Promise Program" is a six-week educational program focusing on creating a positive and inclusive environment for children aged 4 to 14 with special needs. Through a variety of activities, the program aims to help children with special needs improve their life skills and provide them with more assistance and guidance on their path of learning and growth.
Last year's charity pickleball tournament raised a total of $7,000, which was used to enhance medical services for low-income, uninsured communities in Montgomery County. This year, we aim to raise $10,000 to provide better educational resources for those special education children. Therefore, this charity pickleball tournament is not only an event where people come together to enjoy sports but also a noble endeavor to support the children who need help the most.
This charity pickleball tournament will be held at CCACC Sports, where players from all walks of life will come together for an exciting competition. Pickleball has emerged as a popular sport in recent years, attracting participants of all ages and skill levels, from professional players to amateur enthusiasts. It offers everyone the opportunity to engage in friendly competition and enjoy the thrill of the game. Participants will not only experience the joy of sports but also have the chance to connect with other compassionate individuals, sharing their passion and ideas for community service. We warmly welcome everyone to join us and contribute to the charitable cause for our community!
