Primary Care Coalition (PCC), is seeking community partners to submit RFPs for funding to assist in identifying, recruiting, vetting, and providing some application assistance for individuals interested in non-degree health science programs, as their entry into a career in healthcare. Together with the six hospitals in Montgomery County (Nexus Montgomery), PCC has multiple grants to build a pipeline for and labor pool of healthcare support staff including lab technicians, certified nursing assistants, and pharmacy technicians (the "Workforce Development Program"). Our grants include funding for scholarships to certificate programs at Montgomery College, support during schooling and in employment, and support to CBOs who outreach to individuals who may be interested in these careers.

The mission of this Workforce Development program is to economically empower local residents with these healthcare jobs that have a career path, increase the cultural and linguistic diversity of the local healthcare workforce to better reflect the populations served, and meet the demand for these roles in the healthcare workforce.

If you know of potential partners, PCC is seeking multiple CBOs to work with us and doing so via a short RFP process. The RFP can be found at: https://www.primarycarecoalition.org/rfp-workforce-outreach-campaign.html The proposal is meant to be short, between 4 and 8 pages. Proposals are due in by Friday, September 8th at 5pm EST.

Please contact workforce@primarycarecoalition.org with any questions or expressions of interest that are not covered by the RFP. Proposal submissions can be emailed to workforce@primarycarecoalition.org
