CCACC Health Center is affiliated with the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC). We are also one of the 12 safety net clinics operated by the Montgomery County and Primary Care Coalition. CCACC Health Center meets the needs of patients by providing essential medical services, case management, and referrals. It was established specifically for the Asian community in Montgomery County. Our volunteers and staff have different cultural backgrounds, which helps improve the communication between providers and patients. Being able to understand patients’ conditions and needs plays a significant role in providing the quality of care. CCACC Health Center has undergone many changes, but our commitment to serving the community is the only constant. Our mission is to provide medical services to those in need wholeheartedly.

If you share the same passion as we do, CCACC Health Center welcomes you to join our volunteer team. If you are interested in entering the medical field, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience. It is also a wonderful environment to enhance your language skills in English/Mandarin.

What Can You Do:

  1. Volunteer as a medical provider. A valid medical license in Maryland for doctors, nurse practitioners (NP), or physician assistants (PA) is required.
  2. Assisting doctors in medical scribing (which requires a certain level of medical background).
  3. Assisting in patient reception and recording relevant information.
  4. Archiving medical data and documents.
  5. Being a volunteer in community outreach.
  6. Assisting in other clinic tasks.

If you are interested in volunteering in any of these areas, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We appreciate your willingness to contribute to our mission of providing quality patient care to the underserved community.
