In May, for CCACC Health Center, it is Health Checkup Month and Disease Prevention Month. As a result, a small-scale Health fair was held at CCACC (Chinese Culture and Community Service Center) on last Friday (May 12th) from 1pm to 4pm. Nearly a hundred community members participated in health screenings, medical consultations, and health exhibitions. The purpose of this event was provide basic medical services to the community and help everyone develop good habits for disease prevention. Over the years, this fair has been highly effective. Additionally, the CCACC Health Center will continue to offer free medical check-ups and free blood tests until May 31st. CCACC Health Center still has a limited supply of pneumonia vaccines and shingles vaccines available for patients receiving medical services at our center. Interested individuals are welcome to call 240-393-5950 for inquiries regarding insurance matters.
Continue to provide free medical checkup services in May
In May, we will continue to provide free medical checkup services to residents of the community. The services will be free for individuals with insurance or participant in the Montgomery Cares Program, or $10 from uninsured or unable to participate in Montgomery Care Program.
If you do not have insurance but reside in Montgomery County, you can join the Montgomery Cares Program on-site at CCACC Health Center. By joining the program, you will be eligible for discounted healthcare services in here throughout the year, including a free annual checkup and a $25 fee per visit. Additionally, after a doctor’s consultation, you can receive free medication for chronic illnesses from the clinic’s pharmacy with a prescription.

All blood test reports will be interpreted by physicians, and we will send the result to the patients’ provided address. If any issues are detected in the test results, we will contact the patients for further consultation. Uninsured individuals who register for Montgomery Cares Program will have the opportunity to receive free medical consultations with physicians.
