Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month provides an opportunity for the Asian American community in the United States to showcase their respective traditions and engage in cultural exchange. Every year in May, people can experience the rich and diverse cultural traditions of the Asian Pacific community through various cultural festivals, food fairs, and other celebratory events organized by ethnic groups and organizations.
Established in Montgomery County in 2005, the Asian American Health Initiative (AAHI) is dedicated to improving the health needs of Asian American residents and promoting the well-being of the Asian community. In order to promote and celebrate Asian Pacific heritage, AAHI and Office of Community Partnership (OCP) are hosting the 2nd Annual "Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month Celebration" at Seneca Valley High School in Germantown on May 21st from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. As an organization serving the Asian community, the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC) will participate in the event for the second time, presenting a spectacular performance that offers a firsthand experience of traditional Chinese culture. We cordially invite community residents and friends to join us for a day of joy and celebration!
