We are excited to invite you to a Self-Care Journey: Mental Health Advocacy Training for Parents/Caregivers on May 28th at Civic Center, organized by Asian American LEAD (AALEAD). The event is designed to provide you with the tools and knowledge to support your child's mental health and wellbeing.
The event will feature interactive workshops by mental health experts, conversation with psychologists and Q&A sessions with mental health professionals. You will have the opportunity to learn about various mental health topics, including stress management, anxiety, depression, and building resilience. We will also talk about "red flags" in your child's behavior that might lead to depression, stress and suicide.
We believe that mental health is an essential part of overall wellbeing and want to provide parents/caregivers with resources and strategies to support their child's mental health needs. We encourage you to attend this event and learn how you can help your child navigate through mental health challenges.
Please RSVP by May 25 to confirm your attendance. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us at kmalis@aalead.org
We look forward to seeing you on May 28th!
