3.24.2023 Notice of Street Construction on South Summit Avenue and Hutton Street

Gaithersburg, MD (March 24, 2023) The City of Gaithersburg Department of Public Works announced today that M.T. Laney, a Washington Gas contractor, will perform road repairs on South Summit Avenue and Hutton Street. The work is anticipated to begin on Monday, March 27, 2023, and will continue through April, weather permitting. Work will consist of asphalt milling, resurfacing, and striping. View map here.

No road closures are planned, but drivers should expect minor delays at various times while work is in progress.

On-street parking will be restricted at various times. "No Parking" signs will be posted at least 48 hours in advance of construction activity. These signs will be marked with the dates and times of the parking restrictions.

A Washington Gas contractor will perform the work Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
