12.23.2022 Spend Evening with District5 with Concert, Dance Lesson at Kentlands Mansion

Gaithersburg, MD (December 23, 2022) Gaithersburg's Arts on the Green presents Forgotten Waltz: District5 Against 3 on Saturday, January 14 at Kentlands Mansion, 320 Kent Square Road. Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. followed by a dance lesson and demonstration at 8:30 p.m. and dance social with live music from 9 to 9:45 p.m. Intermission with lights snacks and cash bar will be available. Tickets are $45. The concert is sponsored by Hampton Inn & Suites. Purchase tickets here.

Get swept off your feet as District5 performs an evening of passionate dance music from their upcoming album. Enjoy a concert, featuring Coleridge-Taylor's "Three Fours Suite," a piano work transcribed especially for District5. Following the concert, dance instructors Jocelyn Rawat and Farzaneh Seifi will lead a dance lesson and demonstration followed by a dance social with more live music.

District5 features Laura Kaufman Mowry (flute), Alison Lowell (oboe), Amy Eich (clarinet), Matthew Gregoire (bassoon) and Josh Thompson (French horn). Learn more about the quintet here.
