9.2.2022 G-PARC Hosts Plein Air Painting Meet-Up

Gaithersburg, MD (August 31, 2022) – The Arts and Culture Alliance of the Gaithersburg Parks, Arts and Recreation Corporation (G-PARC) announces a Plein Air Painting Meet-Up on Saturday, October 15 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bohrer Park, Hillside Pavilion at 506 N. Frederick Avenue in Gaithersburg.  Artists of all skills and abilities are welcomed. There is no registration fee. The Muddy Branch Starbucks is a G-PARC partner and will be serving free coffee and refreshments to artists at Hillside Pavilion.

About Bohrer Park: Bohrer Park at Summit Hall Farm is a wonderland for all ages. The park contains several open fields, a playground, historic buildings, two ponds, 1.2 miles of walking paths, and plenty of wildlife to see. While at Bohrer Park, visitors can also attend the Skate Park from Noon to sundown.

Parking: Hillside Pavilion parking can accommodate six cars and includes an ADA spot. There is plenty of other parking in front of the Water Park and Activity Center.

Restrooms: Restrooms are located near the Pond Pavilion.
