7.29.2022 Yappy Hour Returns to Kentlands Mansion

Gaithersburg, Md (July 27, 2022) Kentlands Mansion invites you and your pooch to enjoy "Yappy Hour" in the garden on National Dog Day, Friday, August 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. The elegant, beautifully landscaped 19th century estate, located at 320 Kent Square Road, offers the perfect backdrop for a lively happy hour with your canine companion. Admission is $5 for up to two dogs for City of Gaithersburg residents, $7 for nonresidents. Registration is required. Register online here. Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase. An ID is required for alcohol purchases.

Socialize with your favorite four-legged friends while enjoying food from Pop-Up Poutine and Patisserie and a selection of beer and wine for purchase from Grape Escape Kentlands. For your pooch, we have a training demonstration by Joyful Dogs and a "bark-cuterie board" workshop by Outward Bound Hounds. Top-Tier Events will provide a modern, interactive open-air photo booth, and there will be a variety of natural, healthy and minimally processed treats and chews from Pet Wants Rockville. Bring a can or bag of food to donate to local pet rescues in the area.

Pets must be on non-retractable leashes, they must be current on their vaccinations, and they should enjoy the company of other animals and people.
