Services Update
As one of the few non-profit community organizations administered by Chinese-Americans in the Washington Metropolitan area, CCACC continues to develop towards the benchmark in full directions, striving to improve the quality and quantity of our community services. After nearly 40 years of development, the center's diversified range of services has benefited all age groups from toddlers to seniors.
In expanding the breadth and depth of services to the community, the center has successfully acquired Quince Orchard Swimming and Tennis Club on May 27, 2022. Up to now, CCACC’s comprehensive services are accomplished through seven departments as follows:
Meanwhile, CCACC’s administrative office team spared no effort to support the operational activities of the seven departments, continuing to shape the center's role as a community bridge, and implementing the core values of Care, Serve and Thrive.
With the easing of the pandemic, CCACC has gradually opened the facilities to the public starting May 2021, in accordance with relevant government regulations. So far, all services programs have been resumed on track. The center does its best to ensure the safety and health of the service groups while providing high-quality services. For example: provide free COVID test kits and testing services; continue to provide COVID vaccination services for all ages; effectively adjust the number of the on-site served groups; continue to provide on-site and online dual service methods, such as consultation services from Health Care Center, and Adult Literacy Program in Community Service Center (ESOL), Senior Technology Training Program and VITA services, as well as traditional cultural celebrations and more.
