May is both AAPI Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month. Tune into Act To Change's 4th Annual National AAPI Day Against Bullying + Hate, with a focus on the importance of mental health and breaking barriers for the AAPI community. This year's virtual program features a youth panel with two MCPS high school student leaders --- Ela Jalil and Arvin Kim (incoming Student Member of the BOE). Their panel will be featured along with conversations with journalist Lisa Ling, NBA athlete Jeremy Lin, Olympian Mirai Nagasu, and others! See below for details and feel free to share widely.
