Gaithersburg, MD (April 12, 2022) The City of Gaithersburg presents the Montgomery Art Association (MAA) member exhibition at the Benjamin Gaither Center through June 30, 2022. The Benjamin Gaither Center is located at 80-A Bureau Drive and is currently open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This exhibit is open to the public. Masks are optional; social distancing is encouraged.
The Montgomery Art Association is a nonprofit organization supporting the visual arts and artists in Montgomery County and the D.C. metro area. It offers a number of opportunities for its 350 members to display and sell their work. The Association offers field trips, plein air painting outings, business workshops, art-themed social events, and monthly meetings with noteworthy guest speakers.
This exhibit features an eclectic set of 29 pieces in a wide variety of mediums. Featured artists include Laura Aikman, Kenneth Bachman, Elissa Borzilleri, Holly Buehler, Jennifer Crouch, Kellie D., Linda Daniels Cermak, Amelia De Silva, Susan Friend, Tamah Graber, Jack Hammond, Christopher Hoppe, Monica Ingudam, Mary Wilhere Jordan, Hiral Joshi, Anastasiya Kavalenka, Leslie Kraff, Mita Lazarte, Judith Levine, Sally O'Connell, Dora Patin, Terry Pellmar, Sandhya Sharma, Chitra Sharma, David Sommers, Diana Tato-Niktash, Alexandra Treadaway-Hoare, Lisa Zadravec and Michelle Zugrav.
