We are happy to announce that Stop AAPI Hate will be presented with the Committee of 100 Distinguished Service Award for Vigilance in Combating Hate Crimes & Violence at this year's Committee of 100 Conference & Gala in Washington, D.C.

In a time of unprecedented hate and xenophobia directed towards individuals of Chinese and Asian descent, Stop AAPI Hate stood tall, pulling data and information to help drive action and end the violence. In that effort, Stop AAPI Hate became a beacon of hope and a model of leadership for not only the AAPI community but for other minority groups as well. The Committee of 100 Distinguished Service Award is given to the group or individual who demonstrates through action, thought and deed a fundamental commitment towards helping to end anti- Asian hate and spreading compassion, kindness and understanding. Vincent Pan, who serves on Stop AAPI Hate's leadership team, will accept the award on the evening of May 5, in Washington D.C. at our Gala.
