Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine - US Centre for Chinese Medicine by BUCM

Traditional Chinese medicine is a discipline established on the ancient Chinese philosophy that recognizes nature, life, and diseases. It contains a large number of academic theories and methods to prevent and treat diseases. TCM has been inherited for a long time, while acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine are still widely used in present clinical practice, which are precious gifts from China to the world.

The exhibition is divided into five parts:

1. TCM theory: the way how TCM understands nature, life, and disease;

2. Acupuncture: acupuncture meridian points, disease treatment;

3. Chinese medicine: medicinal properties and clinical application of Chinese herbals, medicated diet;

4. The development of Chinese medicine and its spread worldwide;

5. Development of TCM in the United States;

By looking at a number of precious exhibits and pictures from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, visitors experience a very different medical model here and thus have a deeper understanding of Chinese culture, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.

New Year Displays and Exhibitions

Displays include a 210-feet long Great Wall painting, 3 70-feet long dragons, 10 lantern displays, and many beautiful artworks.

Performances, Demonstrations, Gift Shop

Enjoy watching exciting performances including the dragon dance, lion dance, martial arts, dance, and other musical performances as we celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The Chinese Culture and Community Service Center (CCACC) will have a service desk on-site selling Year of the Mouse sweatshirts. We will also be offering an Arts & Crafts booth, Photo booth, and Community Service Help Desk. We will be on-site on Friday (1/24, 1/31), Saturday (1/25, 2/01), and Sunday (1/26, 2/02).
