Gaithersburg, MD (March 11, 2022) The City of Gaithersburg invites families to explore summer camps and programs at Summer in the City Day on Saturday, April 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park. The free event will feature music, games, activities, popcorn, and a moon bounce. Staff will be on hand to provide assistance in completing camp and program registration forms and financial assistance applications. The Activity Center is located at 506 S. Frederick Avenue, next to Gaithersburg High School.
Registration for Gaithersburg's popular summer camps, clinics and other programs, held in convenient locations throughout the City, is now open. Register online at www.gaithersburgmd.gov/
The majority of camps begin June 21 and operate in one-week sessions that provide flexibility for summer family adventures. All-day and partial-day camps are available for elementary and middle school ages. This summer's offerings also include preschool and kindergarten programs, and specialty camps in dance, visual and performing arts, video and music production, STEM, sports, and skateboarding clinics for youth and teens.
