Gaithersburg, MD – (February 25, 2022) In partnership with Sandy Spring Theatre Group, Gaithersburg Arts on the Green presents Godspell. The show runs March 4 through 20, 2022, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The Arts Barn is located at 311 Kent Square Road. Tickets are $24, $20 for students (ages 15 to 21), and $15 for youth (ages 14 and younger). This show is recommended for ages 12 and older. Purchase tickets online here.
Godspell tells the story of a comedic troupe of eccentric players who team up with Jesus to teach his lessons in a new age. With an eclectic blend of songs ranging from pop to vaudeville, Godspell shares Jesus' messages of kindness, tolerance and love.
To help ensure the health and safety of our patrons, performers and staff, a photo ID and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required to attend all indoor ticketed performances at the Arts Barn and Kentlands Mansion. Unvaccinated adults and unvaccinated children under 12 years must provide proof of a negative PCR test conducted no more than 72 hours prior to the performance.
