2.4.2022 Participants Sought for 20th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

Gaithersburg, MD  (February 4, 2022)  The City of Gaithersburg, in partnership with The Peterson Companies and rio, will host the 20th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2022. The parade meanders down Grand Corner Avenue at rio, located near I-370 and Washingtonian Boulevard.

Community groups and other organizations are invited to march. This is a great way to be involved in the community and to get your group noticed. Past participants have included Celtic dancers, bagpipe bands, school groups, clowns, fire trucks, equestrian units, service organizations, and more. Please note that due to health concerns related to the pandemic, no participants will be allowed to hand out materials during the parade this year.

Participation in the St. Patrick's Day Parade by groups or organizations other than City of Gaithersburg officials, departments or committees does not constitute City of Gaithersburg endorsement.
