2.4.2022 Gaithersburg Arts Barn Hosts Independent Film Series

Gaithersburg, MD (January 28, 2022) The Gaithersburg Arts Barn hosts the second of its Independent Film Series nights on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 7:30 to 11 p.m. The Arts Barn is located at 311 Kent Square Road. Admission is $15. Purchase tickets online here. Recommended for ages 15+.

Six locally created films will be shown, including Night Waking, directed by Shoshana Rosembaum, Oracle, directed by Edmund Savage, Nozomi Killed the Last Divine Kibou, directed by Kris Kim, Hard to Get Out, directed by Cynthia Lint, The Dead Saved Me, directed by Adebiyi Tope, and Necessary Evil, directed by Ahday Griffin. Each of the film's creators will discuss their works during intermission.

To help ensure the health and safety of our patrons, performers and staff, a photo ID and proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is now required to attend all indoor ticketed performances at the Arts Barn and Kentlands Mansion. Unvaccinated children under 12 and patrons with a medical condition or closely-held religious belief preventing vaccination must provide proof of a negative PCR test conducted no more than 72 hours prior to the performance. Face masks are required for everyone over the age of two inside all City facilities, and social distancing and limited capacity protocols are in place. Events are subject to change based on the current health situation. Please check the City's website for updates.
