12.17.2021 Post-Apocalyptic Tale "Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play" at Arts Barn

Gaithersburg, MD – (December 17, 2021) In partnership with Montgomery Playhouse, Gaithersburg Arts on the Green presents the regional premiere of Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play. The show runs January 14 through 23, 2022, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. The Arts Barn is located at 311 Kent Square Road. Tickets are $22 and $20 for students (ages 15 to 21). This show is recommended for ages 15 and older. Purchase tickets online here.

Face masks are required inside all City facilities, and social distancing and limited capacity protocols are in place. Performances are subject to change based on the current health situation. Please check the City's website for updates.

A post-apocalyptic tale of survival, passion and the enduring power of Bart Simpson. Across a devastated landscape, gangs of survivors band together to keep the pilot light of civilization burning, exchanging memories for currency as society rebuilds itself one Simpsons episode at a time.
