Community Tree Trim through December

Gaithersburg, MD (December 2, 2021) Kentlands Mansion is crowd sourcing its tree trimming this year. Create handmade ornaments then hang them at your leisure throughout December on the outdoor tree in the Mansion's side garden, located along Briscoe Street. This festive community activity is perfect for families, Scout Troops, and school groups.

Students can earn SSL hours by adding an ornament to the Community Tree. One ornament equals one SSL hour with a maximum of two ornaments. Ornament supplies can be purchased on your own, or select supplies are available at Kentlands Mansion. Ornaments are due by December 20 at 4 p.m. E-mail your name, address, phone number, and a picture of your ornament to Nikki-Ann.Yee@gaithersburgmd.gov for SSL hours.
