On the First Friday of each month, Dupont Circle's museums, galleries, and cultural exhibits open their doors to the public after hours from 6:00-8:00 pm. Come visit the Chinese American Museum DC (in-person) on Friday, December 3, 2021, for this special evening event.

Experience new exhibit Golden Threads: Chinese Opera in America, a private collection of elaborate costumes and insight to the influence of the century's old art form on American history.

Also currently on exhibit are Dora Fugh Lee's A Lifetime of Art, and Wild Cranes, visual poetry. A Lifetime of Art is a timeless display of the perfect blend of east meets west in watercolor scape, featuring visuals from around Washington DC and other iconic landmarks. Wild Cranes features a collection of personal poetry beautifully rendered through the traditional art of Chinese calligraphy.

Visit our website for more information and COVID-19 protocol. https://www.chineseamericanmuseum.org/firstfriday

We look forward to seeing you!
